September is Su***de Prevention Month. Mental health struggles can affect anyone, including people rebuilding their lives after incarceration or experiencing housing instability. At the Dream Center, we believe every person deserves to be heard, supported, and reminded that their life has value.

MCF-St. Cloud’s Restorative Justice group welcomed Pathways 4 Youth, a local charity, to the Peer Mentor meeting on July 17. Pathways 4 Youth was also the recipient of proceeds from the Whole Heart Bake Sale.

Pathways 4 Youth is a resource center for youth ages 16-24 experiencing homelessness. It provides a safe space for youth to eat a hot meal, shower, learn to create a resume, complete a job application, find housing, get groceries, or just relax and play video games in an air-conditioned environment. Pathways 4 Youth staff shared their goal to treat clients with dignity as real people, free from judgment about their current situations.

Thank you, Pathways 4 Youth, for all the work you do in our community! Learn more about the center: https://www.lssmn.org/services/youth-homelessness/brainerd/youth-resource-center-st-cloud
