We at MNDSA can help you through this process by connecting you to an advocate through our BRIDE program or help with support planning for your CDCS waiver. Did you know that at least 1 in 8 Minnesotans has a disability, according to recent estimates from the Minnesota Compass and the U.S. Census Bureau? This accounts for more than 700,000 residents, or roughly 12% of the state's total population.

MNDSA has support planners to help with creating and supporting your CDCS journey. We have recently added 2 new support planners who will be introduced over the next few weeks!!!

As fall is looming, big changes are on the horizon! Our Program Manager, Kaylie, will be transitioning into a new role with a new organization. Please see your email for detailed updates if you are a current Mentor, Mentee, or Professional Contact through BRIDGE.

From Kaylie: "Thank you all for your trust in me and our program since its foundation 18 months ago. I am incredibly proud of the work we have done and care deeply for all of you. This decision was a tough one, but I know BRIDGE will continue to grow and thrive under Kayla's leadership. It has been an honor to walk alongside all of you and I am so grateful for the connections I have made along the way. I remain in the disability field in MN and look forward to continuing to work to advance the work we do and seeing you all in disability related spaces in the future. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!"
