A special shout-out to our SASS VP, Bri Muller, for spearheading this worthy cause. Thank you to everyone who donated to our Spring Clothing Drive. Together, we were able to support the important work of the Betty Griffin Center and the survivors they serve in our community.

St. Augustine Sailing Sisters - SASS organized a gently used clothing drive for the Betty Griffin Center during their annual Wendy Thomson Memorial race.

They delivered a very generous donation of clothing for our shelter. We are incredibly grateful for their ongoing support of survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, along with their minor children in our community.

Ladies, it’s time for spring cleaning!

We’ve been in contact with the Betty Griffin Center and below is a list of what they need. All donations will go directly to the women and not to the consignment shop.

Gently used clothing, accessories (handbags, belts, etc.), unopened hygiene products (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste), and unopened makeup.

Bri Muller has generously offered to take the donations we collect.

📍 Drop-off: Saint Augustine Yacht Club - Wendy Thomson Memorial, May 9th between 12 and 1 pm.

March is just around the corner, which means it’s time for the SASS SPRING FO*WARD RACE! This a fun opportunity for local sailors to get back on the water and start gearing up for the new racing season. Registration is now open and available through the Saint Augustine Yacht Club website. This year’s race will coincide with the Ladybug Race Event, scheduled for March 6–8, 2026. ://www.sta-sail.com/ladybug-race/ Our race will be on Saturday, March 7th See you on the water!

We had a fantastic time at our SASS Merlentine Event. Catching up with sailing friends at Raintree Restaurant was wonderful, and the dinner was delicious. Plus, we were thrilled to learn the restaurant is staying in the family.
