Sailors know… sometimes the race begins with waiting. 🌦️⛵

A passing storm delayed the start, but once the skies cleared, it was time to race.

From crews making the most of the weather delay, to fun racing on the water, to celebrating together afterward at the Saint Augustine Yacht Club, here are a few moments from the 2026 SASS Bikini Race - Women at the Helm!

Thank you to everyone who supported this year’s Vote for a Boat fundraiser. Every vote, donation, and word of encouragement helped support the Betty Griffin Center and St. Francis House & Port in the Storm

It was so much fun cheering on our favorite boats and challenging each other, all for such a wonderful cause. Congratulations to Survivor for taking the top spot, with Fantasea finishing a close second.

Thank you to all of our skippers, crews, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters for helping make this year’s fundraiser possible. We look forward to seeing you in September at the SASS Social for the presentation of checks to our beneficiaries. 💙🩷⛵

We had a fantastic time at our SASS Merlentine Event. Catching up with sailing friends at Raintree Restaurant was wonderful, and the dinner was delicious. Plus, we were thrilled to learn the restaurant is staying in the family.
