Augustine Sunrise Rotary in 1995 as an event from which all proceeds are donated to charitable organizations for local and international service-oriented projects, as well as providing a fun-filled weekend for the whole community. What began as a small Barbeque Fest (its original name) has grown each year and attracts music lovers and barbeque aficionados from all over the Southeast and beyond. Visitors from near and far come to enjoy the fun over the Festival weekend. As the Festival has grown, the music lineup has expanded to include headliners such as Travis Tritt, JJ Grey & MOFRO, Sister Hazel, Rusted Root, Leon Russell, Dave Mason, and the Marshall Tucker Band, along with many well-loved local and regional musicians.

We very much appreciate the sponsors whose generosity has made it possible for St. Augustine Sunrise Rotary to present the Dash to the Dogs 5K, which benefits the Homeless Coalition of St. Johns County, and Pup-a-Pawlooza, which benefits the St. Augustine Humane Society.

Thank you, First Coast Living, for having St. Augustine Humane Society's Community Relations Director Lynn Washington, Paul Studivant from the St. Johns County Pet Center, and Poppy on the show to promote St Augustine Sunrise Rotary's Pup-A-Pawlooza benefiting St. Augustine Humane Society.

The event will be held this Saturday, March 23rd, from 9:00 to 5:00 at the St. Johns County Fairgrounds, 5840 FL-207 E in Elkton.

The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office K-9 team will demonstrate at noon. My Pet Camp will also be present for morning and afternoon demos, and dogs may participate for a nominal fee. There will also be an AKC Canine Good Citizen Test and free Your Special Dog Contests!

St Augustine Sunrise Rotary's Dash to the Dogs 5K run or walk will take place on Saturday, March 23rd. The dog-friendly event will start at Armstrong Park, 4950 Harvey Ave., in Elkton, at 8:00 a.m.

The race course will be on the beautiful 12-foot-wide Palatka to St. Augustine State Trail and will benefit the Homeless Coalition St Johns County. The Homeless Coalition is changing lives by providing homeless families a chance at stability, education, and a better future.

Join us for a day of fun for the entire family at St. Augustine Sunrise Rotary’s Pup-A-Pawlooza on Saturday, March 23rd, from 9:00 until 5:00 at the St. Johns County Fairgrounds for dog demos and participation events benefiting the St. Augustine Humane Society.

Morning and afternoon demos with My Pet Camp in Rally Obedience*, Dog Agility*, K-9 Nosework, Dog Flyball, Rocking Recall Championship*, and Fetch Competition*.

St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office K-9 demo is from 11:30 a.m. until noon.

Sign up to volunteer at St Augustine Sunrise Rotary's Pup-A-Pawlooza, benefiting the St. Augustine Humane Society, and the Dash to the Dogs 5K benefiting the Homeless Coalition St Johns County, to be held on Saturday, March 23rd. Both events need volunteers, including event set-up on Friday, March 22nd.

In addition to the 5K, there will be Rally Obedience, Dog Agility, Rocking Recall, Trick Training, K-9 Nosework demos, and opportunities for people to have their pets try some activities.

Training demos, music by DJ Pro Show, food trucks, vendors, and prizes for the best dog in an astounding number of categories, including best treat catcher, best rescue dog, and dog with the waggiest tail, will be held.

St Augustine Sunrise Rotary's Pup-A-Pawlooza will be held on Saturday, March 23rd, from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the St. Johns County Fairgrounds, 5840 S.R. 207, and offers pet guardians and their dogs the opportunity to participate in several doggie-friendly activities.

In addition to all the doggie fun, there will be training demonstrations, music by DJ Pro Show, food trucks, vendors, and prizes for the best dog in an astounding number of categories, including Best Treat Catcher, Best Rescue Dog, and Dog with the Waggiest Tail.

Admission is $15 at the door and $10 in advance for anyone 15 and over. Humans younger than 15, and all dogs, may enter for free. The event benefits the St. Augustine Humane Society.

She’ll demo and introduce you to some cool dog sports and then let you try it with your dog! Events include Pet Camp's Rocking Recall Championship, an AKC Fetch Competition and AKC K-9 Good Citizen Testing, available for a nominal fee.

St Augustine Sunrise Rotary Club is seeking non-food vendors for our Pup-A-Pawlooza, a fun dog-related event benefiting the St. Augustine Humane Society.

We're seeking sponsors and non-food vendors to be part of this tail-wagging celebration. Support a good cause and be part of the fun!
