I want to apologize for not being present for the last 3-4 months. Most of ya'll know that we were deeply affected by Helene and the loss of everything we owned. And coincidentally the day of the storm was the day my biopsy was scheduled in Charlotte, We obviously didn't make it, but 2 weeks later I was diagnosed with 2 different cancers. So between those 2 things Harris Speedway PACE (Preventing Abuse through Community Education) has been sidelined. PACE will be doing drug prevention, anti-bullying and youth su***de awareness programs at schools and other youth related organizations. We have a show car to bring to the events and want each of you to know that we NEED your help to succeed. Many of us have been affected by these heartbreaking situations, either through family, friends or even ourselves. We will be participating in parades, fairs and other events in Rutherford County and surrounding areas. WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE! Please message me if you would like to participate in any way. We will be posting upcoming events after the 1st of the year and need t least 2 or 3 more cars to succeed at these events. If you feel even a little bit as passionately about this as I do then please send me a message. I've had a similar nonprofit that was a great asset to the community I lived in for 20 years. If there is someone out there who wants to be involved in the speaking presentations that would be great. I believe that God has put me where I am right now for a reason. But i can't do it alone.

Hi y'all! This is Deb Chapman, and I am blessed to be part of Harris Speedway PACE . We are looking for the best opportunity to kick off our drug prevention and antibullying program in Rutherford County. Between the storm Helene and a cancer diagnosis we have not been ready to wave the green flag on PACE. Please be patient with us, and me especially to breeze right through the next 6 weeks so we can get going. Prayers are greatly appreciated. We praise God for all the help we have received and all the great people we have met along the way. Hopefully we will be able to rebuild our home, which was destroyed in Helene. We hope to see you soon.

Does anyone have an old driving suit for a small to medium size child? We are looking for suits to use during our drug prevention presentations. Donations would be greatly appreciated.

I apologize for being out of commission for a while. A lot has happened and Harris Speedway PACE is ready to roll. We would really like to get an event scheduled at a Rutherford County School. If you have a child that goes to school in Rutherford County and would like to have a Reach for Dreams, Not Drugs presentation with racecars in attendance, please give our information to the school. Don't miss out on this fun night of racing October 26th at Harris Speedway. Let's keep the community going to support all the people who have been so affected by the storm. We need some time to get away from it all and just enjoy some good old down south racing.
