RHI Legacy Foundation We support organizations addressing health and wellness efforts with direct funding through grants. Our work is specific to the Rutherford County community.

RHI Legacy Foundation is committed to impact health and wellness in Rutherford County, NC by making grants to support organizations and initiatives aligned with our grant focus areas of chronic disease, healthy eating and active living. We also pursue, identify, incubate and implement new programs and projects to effectively and efficiently impact health and wellness. We partner with other funders

and other organizations to maximize our impact. You might also be interested in the work of the Community Health Council of Rutherford County and their work to improve the health of our county.

The 2026 grant cycle will open March 2, 2026 - March 31, 2026 for Rutherford and Polk County nonprofits who serve in the areas of eldercare, youth development and wellness. Visit carolinaff.org/grants to learn about eligibility requirements.
