Our deck will be the next main focus involved with our ongoing beautification project here at the post. The pathway was the first and it was in conjunction with making the grounds more accessible for our family and friends with mobility issues. Same with the deck, it’s our ADA access for the hall and full bathrooms upstairs. The needed practical portion of the project is mixed with community outreach, sustainability and beautification in each of the phases.
I Just had a great meeting with partners and stakeholders that will reinforce our commitment to working alongside each other for the benefit and sustainability of our entire community!

The Rutherford Chamber of Commerce welcomes our newest member, Stars Theatre Company, and the Director, Laura Rizzo.

Laura Rizzo is an experienced, award-winning director, choreographer, and arts educator for over 36 years both nationally and internationally. Recently Being nominated by the Broadway community for her arts education and dedication to the professional Broadway community. She is best known for her performances both on and off Broadway as a former SAG, Equity professional actor. In addition to her professional acting career, she is also known for her leadership roles as CEO and Executive Director of the Rising Stars Performing Arts Company (RSPAC) in Yonkers, NY, and the Rising Stars Youth Theatre in Sparta, NJ. She has a bachelor's degree in Drama and Dance from Bard College, a master's degree in educational Theatre from New York University graduating valedictorian, and a second master's in educational leadership from Western New Mexico University graduating summa cm laude. In addition, she has an educational doctorate in ESOL from North Central University. She is a certified drama and dance teacher in NJ. Laura A. Rizzo’s career blends performance, education, and community leadership, making her a significant figure in New Jersey’s theatre scene and a model for arts‑driven community development.
