4 Paws is dedicated to the well being of stray and neglected animals in Lincoln Parish Louisiana. Dog adoption includes: UTD on shots, spay/neuter and first rabies certificate (if dog isn't already fixed), We ALWAYS make sure our animals go to the best homes possible. We are always accepting donations to help further our future as a shelter and to help improve the lives of all the animals we take in. Volunteers are always needed and we greatly appreciate the help.

Friday 7:45a Update: the Police Juror for this area was called & he is going to send someone out to catch the dogs. These dogs will go from living under a shipping container & hungry to a shelter to eventually be euthanized due to RAC already being full. DO BETTER LINCOLN PARISH!!

We got a call today from a man in Choudrant regarding a mama dog & 8 puppies. We cannot take right now because we have taken in 8 dogs in the past week & now have no room.

Parish AC Officer was called but the man was told that Ruston Animal Control was full. (The Parish AC Officer brings the animals picked up in the parish there.)

So what are these animals options???
We are desperate for FOSTERS!! If we have fosters, we could take in these innocent mama/pups.

If you can’t foster, then call your Police Juror & let them know if you think more needs to be done regarding animal welfare! If you can’t get in touch with your juror, then call the Police Jury Office.

He was abandoned in an apartment complex laundry room after his owners locked him there and moved .
Rocco is currently in a foster home until he finds a forever home . He is estimated to be under a year . Good with cats, and kids soon to be tested with other dogs.
