There’s something new to explore on the Rock Island Greenway.

Recently installed signage throughout the trail now offers fun facts and helpful directions for visitors enjoying the Greenway.

This project came together through the support of the Vista Center, with signage created by talented Louisiana Tech University students right here in Ruston.

What a wonderful couple of days in Baton Rouge with our incredible Leadership Lincoln ###IX class for Northern Exposure! We are grateful for the opportunity to learn more about the issues and decisions impacting Louisiana and Lincoln Parish.

Thank you to the many state leaders, speakers, legislators, and hosts who took time to invest in our class throughout the trip. From workforce and education to economic development and transportation, our class gained valuable insight into the work being done across our state.

Special thanks to Northern Exposure, Representative Chris Turner, and Deputy Attorney General Larry Frieman for helping make this such a meaningful and memorable experience!
