The Junior Auxiliary of Ruston extends our deepest and heartfelt condolences to the Smart family on the passing of Lillian. ❤️

During this difficult time, we pray that God will provide comfort, strength, and peace to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her. May the memories shared and the love she gave continue to bring comfort in the days ahead.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Smart family as they grieve this great loss. 🙏🏽❤️

Last night Lillian ran from our arms to the arms of Jesus.

The injuries to her brain were too severe for her little body to recover from. Everyone did everything they could to keep her here. We are heartbroken and honestly do not know what to do next. How do we put one foot in front of the other without our girl?

Our foundation is still in Jesus. We didn’t get to keep our girl but we watched miracles happen on her behalf. We believe God is good. He will give us strength when we have none left. He’s given us a community of support that I don’t think can be found anywhere else in the world. Lil would have loved seeing everyone come together and she would have been right in the middle of it trying to help where she could.

We are devastated. We know you are too. Pray for our boys. They are going to need it so much. Pray for our friends and family, they are so sad and somehow still showing up for us. Pray for us, we won’t be able to do this without it.

We are so grateful to you for loving our girl.

We were honored to welcome Erin Stokes from CASA of Northeast Louisiana to our Junior Auxiliary of Ruston monthly meeting!

Erin shared more about CASA’s mission and the important work they do to advocate for children who have experienced abuse or neglect. We loved learning more about how CASA serves children and families in our community and discovering the many ways our organizations share a common mission: serving children, strengthening families, and making a lasting difference in the lives of those who need us most.

🩷A PRAYER FOR LILLIAN💙

Today, the Junior Auxiliary of Ruston is lifting sweet Lillian and her family up in prayer.

Lord, we ask You to wrap Your loving arms around Lillian and cover her with Your healing power. Give her body strength, give her doctors wisdom, and let the medications begin to work. We pray for little to no neurological damage and for every area of injury to be restored.

Lord, Lillian needs a miracle, and we believe You are still in the miracle-working business. We ask for Your mercy, Your healing, and Your presence to surround her in these critical days.

Please strengthen and comfort her parents, Rebecca and Daniel, and cover their baby boys and their entire family. Give them peace when they are afraid, strength when they are weary, and hope when things feel impossible.
