Southern A'Chord Chorus We are a women's a ca****la community chorus based in Ruston and drawing members from several parishes. We're on the grow and on the move!

Our rehearsals are always open - so, ladies, if you'd like to have a great time singing and harmonizing, please contact us and/or come visit! We are a newly formed women's a ca****la chorus headquartered in Ruston, Louisiana, drawing members from several parishes. Two members of our chorus attended the fifth annual TRU Harmony A Ca****la retreat in Arkansas this past weekend: Director Candice Bassett and Sallie Rose Hollis, vice president and assistant director for visual communication. They had a great time, learned more about our craft, and reveled in this wonderful art form that we have chosen. Just ask 'em. They're sure to have lots of information - and stories! - to share.

Southern A'Chord is excited to begin a new chorus year, and one of the markers of that is the installation of officers and board members. We celebrated that milestone at last Thursday’s rehearsal. For the coming year, the chorus will continue under the leadership of a returning board and officer team as members continue building experience and continuity for the future.
