📢 COMMUNITY ALERT: Help Feed Families During the Shutdown

Due to the ongoing government shutdown and suspension of SNAP benefits, many families in our community are struggling to put food on the table. 🍞🥫

Our Food Pantry is stepping up to help — and we need your support.

🛒 Here’s how you can help:

Join us this weekend for a day of cars, community, and giving back! The Car Show is proud to support local nonprofits making a difference — and this year, we’re thrilled to highlight and support the Hyland Heights Baptist Church Food Pantry.

𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀:
- Classic and custom cars on display
- Food vendors, entertainment, and family fun
- Honoring the memory of Deputy Jason Saunders
- An opportunity to give back to our community

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽:
A portion of the event proceeds will benefit the HHBC Food Pantry, reaching those in need and strengthening our community, just as Jason did with his volunteerism.

It’s a privilege to support a local organization that’s been a blessing to so many. For over 30 years, the HHBC Food Pantry has been helping families and individuals in our community with basic food needs. They currently serve an average of 150 families each week — providing not just food, but hope and reassurance that they are loved and cared for.

Due to severe weather conditions, our church campus will be closed today, and all scheduled activities are canceled. Please stay safe and warm.

We are so incredibly grateful to Mark LaMotte and his team of Food Lion employees for volunteering at the Food Pantry last night. They helped us feed 164 families. It was a great evening of meeting a real need in our community.

They served hot chocolate, kept the parking lot running smoothly, prepped food for guests, and handed out the food during distribution.

We are thankful for our partnership with Food Lion. We don’t do what we do without them.

Such a great time celebrating our volunteers!

In 2023 we saw 6813 households which resulted in 20,536 individuals being served through the Food Pantry.
We gave out 711,240lbs of food.
Over 13,000 man hours to make it all happen!
Our directors, Julie and Shawna, do a great job of keeping everything running smoothly.

We are grateful for the partnerships we have in the community that enable us to meet a very real need in our community.

We are humbled that the Lord continues to use the Food Pantry to not only meet a tangible need, but He gives us the opportunity to pray with our guests to help meet their spiritual needs as well.

We love all of our volunteers and are so thankful for their heart to meet the needs of our community.
