12/30/2023 LOCOMOTIVE RESTENCIL

CSXT 3058, which was originally restenciled to CSXT 1902, is now restenciled to CSXT 1897 for unknown reasons. In other words: Clinchfield Railroad -> Chicago, Indianapolis, and Louisville Railway (MOST LIKELY)

This change occured around the middle of December. As again, we don't know when these units get released. Stay tuned for more rebuild updates!

It happened again... We received word that the nose of CSX 6394 was painted into Richmond, Fredericksburg and Potomac Railroad (RF&P) colors by individuals unaffiliated with CSX.

It was first noticed by CSX employees at Cartersville, GA the morning before. Note the miniature CSX logo in the bottom left corner of the nose. This ex-RF&P GP40-2 is pictured at Rockmart, GA.
