A new report found that Detroit's child poverty rate dropped to 39.4% in 2025, the lowest level in at least 20 years.

We're grateful to provide a place where young people can learn, grow, and make memories after school. Love seeing these smiles! 😊

❤️ Behind every donation is a story.

For Keith and Anna Tack, their connection to The Salvation Army spans generations. From childhood memories of putting coins into Red Kettles to witnessing the organization's impact throughout their lives, their support is rooted in a simple belief: "The Salvation Army meets people where they are."

We're grateful for supporters like Keith and Anna whose generosity helps ensure neighbors in need continue to receive food, shelter, recovery services, and hope. Learn more about why they've been giving for over 35 years: https://bit.ly/48j78A3

❤️ Giving back just got a little easier.

A new charitable giving tax deduction means more people may be able to receive a tax benefit for their generosity, even if they don't itemize.

🍽️ No one should have to choose between putting food on the table, paying for medicine, or keeping the heat on.

Yet many families and seniors in our communities are making difficult decisions every day just to get by.

Your support helps provide reliable meals, hope, and peace of mind to neighbors facing hardship this holiday season. ❤️
