Proving Innocence Proving Innocence is a Michigan based non-profit committed to fighting wrongful convictions through 5 mission thrusts.

We are a non-profit dedicated to supplying professional and volunteer investigators for uncovering new evidence so that the wrongfully convicted can be freed. We also support the education of of the general public about this problem, systemic change, and assistance to exonerees in their reentry to society.

We are so sad to learn about the death of Carl Bruner, 39. He died of a heart attack on November 21st. He was found in his apartment unresponsive when his sister arrived to pick him up for the trip from Kentucky back to Detroit for Thanksgiving.
