For this reason they are before the throne of God and worship him day and night within his temple, and the one who is seated on the throne will shelter them. - Revelation 7:15
Dear siblings in Christ,
This Sunday is one of the most sacred days of the year in the Christian tradition, All Saints Sunday, when we celebrate the Good News that all our forebears and ancestors continue to work and worship alongside us, bound up in Christ as one flock in something the Church calls “the communion of the saints.”
And my gosh, thank goodness our saints are with us, because we have A LOT of work to do this Sunday! While the warm weather has led to the leaves not being down yet, we’re going to need everyone in the congregation’s help to remove EVERYTHING from the Youth Room and Sunday School Room as replacement of our old asbestos floor will begin next Thursday!!!!
Finally, with a massive thanks for your generosity, we’ve already raised $137,200 in commitments towards our $140,000 Centennial Appeal, so if you haven’t yet submitted a Statement of Intent, please do so this Sunday and help but us over the top as we along with all our saints build a house of faith for future generations!
Thank you, dear friends, for all you do in Christ’s name, and see you this Sunday, at Messiah!
In hope,
Pastor Dustin
Life together in our Spirit filled congregation grounded in Jesus Christ.
