Thursday night we had a night of Halloween activities! Scouts carved pumpkins and played games. And the night ended with the Scoutmaster telling a Halloween story about death whistles.

Please help our troop as we support the Rotterdam Elks and their annual food drive. In the past, we have been able to not only provide for 🦃 Thanksgiving baskets, but for 🎄 Christmas as well. Everything stays local and helps our neighbors and community. We appreciate any help. We can arrange to pick up donations as well.

Instead of a regular Troop meeting, last night we did the Candelight Victorian Tour in the Stockade. We went on a tour all around the stockade area and heard various stories of time long ago. Did you know Harry Houdini passed away on Halloween or that he performed here in Schenectady? We learned of the hauntings at the Stockade Inn. It was a unique night. Next week we’ll be having some Halloween fun!
