Today is the last day to get in an order for 2026 Kirtland's Warbler Festival shirts. The shirts are $20. If you are interested, email us at

Congratulations to Sydney R of Port Huron for being a finalist of the State of Michigan 2026 “I Voted” sticker contest. Sydney designed a sticker featuring the Kirtland’s Warbler with the Mackinaw Bridge in the background. Winners will be chosen by the public. Voting is live now and ends on June 30th.

We are confident the Kirtland’s Warbler fans will want to help Sydney’s design win. I was chosen to be the featured artist for the Kirtland Warbler Festival this year! My original painting was auctioned Fri evening and I sold a bunch of prints Saturday.

If you need a good breakfast on Sunday morning after the Kirtland's Warbler Festival, go to Blodgett Memorial Airport, 5218 E Houghton Lake Dr, Houghton Lake, MI. I can vouch that the home made cinnamon donuts are the best I have ever had.
