We had a Dogless Dog Show in Animal Science! 🐕 🐕‍🦺🐩

Megan Chambers took 3rd Place at States in Ag Education with a lesson on Honey Bee's, and Al Queor took 2nd Place for Agriscience on her project that focuses on Chickens (egg shell strength)! - how cool for them to pick a design meaningful to all 3 of them! 🐝🐓🇺🇸

About last night..

We had such a wonderful time celebrating our year together!!!! We are so grateful to have such a great community of family, and friends.

What a beautiful night celebrating our Romulus FFA achievements and accomplishments at Muranda Cheese!!!! We celebrated our retiring officers, our new officers, our members, and our Seniors!! 💙

We our thankful for all of the businesses, programs, partnerships, alumni, and families who continue to support us. We couldn't do it without you all! 💗

Our guest speaker this year was Pete DeCloux!! Owner of Westwind Poultry Farms & Lizzie Lilyea! Our 25-26 District President!! It was so great to have you both there. 🫶

Thank you to everyone who joined us, and to Blowin' Smoke BBQ for an awesome meal!

Thank you so much Seneca County Cornell Cooperative Extension for all you do to help our chapter and program! 💙💚

It was such a pleasure to join Romulus FFA & Agricultural Education students, families, school faculty and staff, community members and more at the Banquet. Our Seneca County 4-H NY has appreciated an ongoing partnership to highlight Agricultural Literacy and grow with these students facilitation and public speaking skills throughout the year. It has been so exciting to watch these young people develop higher levels of confidence, self-concept, motivation.

Thank you Romulus FFA! We are so proud of your passionate pursuits, hard work, determination, and welcoming way!

Can't forget about the Agriculture Sales Team!!!! They went in for the first time to compete on this CDE and even though they didn't place, we are still so proud of them!!!

We all know they can be great "sales men" so maybe they will give this a try again next year, and have the best pitch!!

Today was a very special day for Romulus FFA!!!!! 💙

Today we had 3 students receive their Empire Degree for the very FIRST time!!!!!!

Congratulations to Paul Buisch, Alex Brockway, and Isabelle Kuleszo.

The Empire Degree is the highest honor an FFA member can achieve at the State Level, specifically within the New York State FFA Association. It recognizes students for outstanding commitment to personal growth, community service, and Supervised Agricultural Experiences (SAE).

Brandon Aguilera moved onto States from our District LDE's for the Spanish Creed!!!!! This is Brandon's first year in FFA.

Thanks to his mom for working hard and encouraging him, Brandon was able to fluently recite the creed in Spanish to a panel of judges for the first time! 👏

We can't wait to watch him grow as a member! 🌱

Megan Chambers is a NY State Finalist in Agriculture Education!!!!!! She took 3rd place.

The coolest part of her competition is that she focused on teaching students on how to create a marketing plan selling honey. 🍯

She showcased Heart of the Fingerlakes Honey, and The Bee Keepers Daughter!! 🐝
