Thank you to the Ovid Honor Guard who came to the Cemetery this morning and honored our deceased veterans with the traditional volley and taps. It is very much appreciated.
After 1.25 inches of rain overnight the safety of everyone and the cemetery grounds led to the decision to cancel traditional Honors Service.
Please use caution when driving through the cemetery and only park on the roadways.

Due to safety concerns with the saturated grounds the Honors Service at Lake View Cemetery has been canceled.

On behalf of Interlaken Grange and Lake View Cemetery, thank you to the volunteers who assisted with removing the flags from the veterans' graves today.

Volunteers will be collecting the flags at the cemetery on Tuesday, November 11th at 2 pm.
On Sunday November 16th, Interlaken Grange will host the annual Flag Retirement service at 3pm. All are welcome and invited to bring flags to be retired. If you can't attend, see the poster to have your flags picked up.
