*Highlights of the new revisions of the NMDA Show Rulebook
- No cleats allowed in any classes
- Driving whips to be in-hand in all driving classes
- Show shirts added to show attire
- Having the wrong number or no number in a class is a disqualification
- The gate person needs to have all exhibitors in the holding area and ready to enter ring
- Sub-Youth is 12 years and under – Youth is 13- 17 years of age
- In-Hand Hunter class has been added
- Lead race has been shortened to 50 feet
- C**n jumping starting at 20 inches
- Show application fee is $75.00
- Hi-Point Show Champion competition... if there is a tie, the competitor with the most first places will break the tie between competitors.
- Youth Halter has been added where points go on the Youth only, not the donkey (jennets and geldings only)
- In-Hand jumping on jump-offs - put bars down on the other jumps not being used to jump off.
- C**n Jumping - exhibitors enter from the front only – not the sides
- Big T game driving distance for course
- No speed carts or Hyper Bikes allowed on Performance driving, Obstacle driving and Gambler's Choice courses.
- Gambler's Choice course will give a 30 second warning with a whistle before 2 minutes is up
- Youth can help in open and green classes where points are on the donkeys only, not youth.
- Youth Hi-Point is on the youth's number only
