Ridgeview Student Ministry

10/14/2026

Tonight from 6:30-8pm is Fields of Faith. This is an event hosted by "Teens 4 Jesus" one of the Christian organizations at Rolla High School. All students 6-12 grade are invited to come.

The church van will leave Ridgeview at 6:15pm to shuttle students to the high school and will return after the event is over (will return a little after 8pm). If you'd like to meet us there or your student will drive themselves, the event will be at Rolla High School indoor practice field (enter through he main office entrance).

Feel free to swing by Ridgeview around 5:30pm for free food before the event starts, and hang out till the van leaves.

No youth group tonight, instead come hang out at our annual Galilean Service!

TONIGHT:

You're invited to our Galilean Service
This Sunday, Sept 13 at 6PM @ Little Prairie Lake

This is a neat tradition we look forward to every year where our minister leads a service from a boat on the water — inspired by how Jesus preached from a boat on the Sea of Galilee. Bring a chair, come sit on the shore as the sun sets, and be part of it. Worship and fellowship time will be included.

Due to Labor Day weekend, we will not have youth group tonight (9/6). See ya next week at Ridgeview's Galilean Service!

We are going to head over to Gasconade Camp for Slip N' Slide Kickball, the pool, and other water games this coming Tuesday. We leave at 3:30pm and get back at 8:30pm, sack-lunch style dinner provided. It's going to be a great day beating the heat and enjoying the camp.

I need to know how many people are going ASAP so I can buy food. If your student is going to go to this awesome event, please don't wait to sign them up, sign them up right now! Click this link to register them:

Join us June 23 from 3:30-8:30pm for Slip n' Slide Kickball out at Gasconade Christian Service Camp. We will also swim in the pool and play other water games (water balloon volleyball, sponge dodgeball, etc.). Dinner provided will be sack lunch dinner (sandwiches, chips, etc.).

T minus 15 minutes until we start painting the youth room! See you soon!

Come help us paint the Youth Room!

Student(s) are invited to come help Jacob and Dillon paint the youth room this Thursday, June 11 from around 10am-2pm. Pizza provided for lunch around noon.

We are going to be painting the youth room to make it feel like more of our own space, and we will have lots of brushes and rollers so that your student can be part of the process. No sign up necessary, just show up and help us slap some paint on the wall.

We have a lot of great events planned for your students this summer at Ridgeview Student Ministry! These events range from local events at the church building, to float trips, summer camps, and other exciting fun days. To help you keep track of these awesome events, I've put to gather a calendar (see below) for the whole summer. Every event we are planning on doing is on this calendar and as they get closer, we will send out more info. Physical copies of this calendar will be available for your students to pick up at the next several youth group events (Sunday School, Youth Group, etc.) if you'd like a paper copy. Put it on your fridge, save it to your phone, add these dates to your calendar, or do whatever you need to do to save these dates! I'm confident your student will not want to miss them.

Our first event will be June 23rd out at Gasconade Christian Service Camp. We will leave Ridgeview at 3:30pm and get back around 8:30pm and this event will feature Slip n' Slide Kickball, Sponge Dodgeball, the camp swimming pool, and free dinner (sack meal with sandwiches, chips, etc.). All free of course. Check it out here: https://ridgecc.churchcenter.com/registrations/events

I'm looking forward to an awesome summer with your students!
Jacob

Tonight at 6pm Ridgeview Student Ministry is joining up with the rest of the Ridgeview Christian Church families to have snow cones at Green Acres Park, just off HWY 72. Bring your friends, families, neighbors, and whoever else you can find! The plan is to meet rain or shine, but check the Ridgeview's main page for any updates to the event.

That means we will not have youth group tonight from 6-8pm at Ridgeview, as we will be at the park chompin' down on snow cones.

Hey everybody! Just a reminder that tonight from 5-6pm is our Dessert Auction and Smoked Meat Fundraiser! Don't forget to have your desserts here before the event begins. Additionally, we will need students here early to help get some more tables ready, so please arrive a few minutes early to help out!

Word has spread, and there is likely going to be a huge turnout for this event!
