Choices for People provides support to help those with disabilities to participate in the community.

💡 Did you know?

Choices for People serves individuals with disabilities across 31 counties in south-central and southeast Missouri.

What started in 1957 as the Rolla Cerebral Palsy School has grown into an organization that supports people through Community Services, Employment Services, Day Services, and Residential Services.

And while those program names are important, the heart of the work is even bigger: helping people build skills, make choices, connect with their community, work toward personal goals, and live with more independence.

That’s what person-centered support is all about. 💙

🚨 Advocacy Alert: Protect Community Inclusion Rights

Missouri is still part of a lawsuit that could threaten the community inclusion rights of people with disabilities. These rights help ensure individuals have access to services, supports, and opportunities in their communities.

Please take a moment to tell Attorney General Hanaway to withdraw Missouri from the 504 lawsuit.

📬 Choices Across America Update! 🇺🇸💛

Our Choices Across America project is still going strong, and we are getting closer to reaching all 50 states!

Our Day Services locations have been collecting postcards, happy mail, fun facts, drawings, and small items from across the country to help our individuals learn more about different places, people, and communities.

Every person’s path looks different. We are here to support choice, independence, belonging, and the everyday moments that help people grow.

On this Memorial Day, we pause to reflect with gratitude for the sacrifices made for the freedoms we enjoy every day.

As a reminder, all Choices for People locations are closed today in observance of Memorial Day and will reopen tomorrow.
