Right now, people are on our waitlist. They're ready to get sober and ready to start over. The only thing missing is a bed.

That's why we're launching Make Room for Hope.

For $600, you can sponsor one spot and move someone from our waitlist into treatment. Your gift covers:
🛏 Room & board
🍽 Food
💡 Utilities
🚐 Transportation
🤍 A safe place to heal

We're trying to fill 20 spots. That's 20 people getting their Day One.

You can sponsor one spot, two, or three, or give any amount toward a spot. Businesses, churches, small groups and families can also go in on one together.

I can’t stand having a waitlist.

Especially when that list is full of people who are desperately trying to get clean. People who have finally made the decision to change their lives but are still sleeping on the streets, couch surfing, or living in houses surrounded by the very things they’re trying to escape.

How do you tell someone who’s ready to change that they have to wait?

I lose sleep over this. Because I know what can happen while someone is waiting. I know that a person on our waitlist today might not be alive tomorrow.

So, here we are again. Acting on faith.

That’s my wife Nikki holding the keys to a 7-bedroom house we just leased in Rogers, right down the street from our treatment center.

We don’t have everything figured out. We don’t have everything we need. But we have a house, and we have people who need it.

Now we need your help.

We need everything it takes to turn a house into a home. Beds, furniture, kitchen supplies, household essentials, all of it. If you have something you’d like to donate, please message us here.

It costs us $600 per person, per month to provide housing, utilities, food, transportation to treatment, meetings, job interviews, and everything else they need to get started.

If you or your business would like to sponsor someone for $600 and help us get them out of their current situation and into a safe home TODAY, please reach out.

I refuse to believe that someone should lose their life waiting for an opportunity to save it.

Day One Hope Center will be out at Greasy Bend Off-Road Park October 16 & 17 for an action-packed off-road mudding event!

Come out, have some fun, get a little muddy, and help us raise money for our “Road to Recovery” mission. Every dollar raised helps Day One Hope Center continue supporting individuals and families affected by addiction and reminds our community that recovery is possible. ❤️

Day One Hope Center is looking for a full-time ADC (Alcohol and Drug Counselor) to join our adult treatment team in Fort Smith.

We’re looking for someone who understands that recovery is more than a job. We serve adults working to rebuild their lives and need a counselor who can meet people where they are while helping them move forward.

• ADC credential or appropriate Arkansas credentialing
