It is with a heavy heart that we share the recent passing of one of our former campers and staff members, Javier Tejidor.

Javi was a light to many, and we are grateful to know that he is with the Lord in peace.

CWE always grieves the loss of those that have been so invested with us as people, but also as partners in reaching the children of Northwest Arkansas. We extend our love and many prayers to Javi's family and friends, and any others impacted by this loss. 💙

Meet our Community Engagement team!! 👨‍👩‍👦 🎄📑
Hear more about their team from Andy, the Director of Follow-Up at CWE:
Q:What does the community engagement team do?
A: We connect with the community in order to get kids to camp. We try to connect with schools, non-profits, churches, and businesses to let them know who we are and what we do in order to get families connected for kids to get to camp.
Q:What was your favorite event you worked in the last year and why?
A: First time camper tours. We started these a few years ago and it’s a great way for parents and kids to see camp and calm some nerves about coming for the first time. The most exciting part for me is families seeing camp for the first time and being so blown away by all we have to offer.
