Another great day for our friends at City First Church to visit and serve at Life Decisions. A huge THANK you to this awesome group - who came in and helped us continue packing, cleaning, weeding, and lawncare.

At the end of the year, our lease is up in this beautiful space and we are working hard to leave it in pristine condition - ending our season here, well.

Every day, as we pack and prepare to move over to our permanent location, we reminisce on the endless stories, memories, and moments we have shared here over the years.

We are excited to host our 2nd Annual Time of Thanks and Giving event next month as a way of closing out this chapter with Gratitude, Prayer and Reflection. We invite you to join us on November 18th for one of our two sessions - You can reserve your spot here:

Then, we realized something else. If we created an opportunity for them to lead, create, serve, and execute a community event around something they genuinely cared about...they would show up.

Shout out to Tommy Klonicki !!

Tommy recently came on staff as our Property Maintenance Coordinator and it's been awesome to watch him work with our youth & mentors while transforming the home! He brings a joy and humor to our environment and embodies our core value of Community & Belonging in such a tangible way to those who enter.

Old homes need a lot of maintenance and upkeep - so since he's started, he's been checking into the Roof, the Boiler, Replacing Rotted wood on the exterior and so much more even in this short period of time!

This December, our lease ends for the use of the Day Home. That means, we have a LOT of items that will be moving over to our new space soon....But Tommy is ensuring we are prepared and organized!! Check out these basement Storage shelves he and a couple youth worked on this week.

👟 **The Shoe Drive may have officially ended on June 13… but the final count is STILL coming!** 👀

Over the past several weeks, our community has shown up in incredible ways — collecting, donating, sharing, and helping us move toward an amazing goal. We are still working hard behind the scenes bagging every final pair and getting our official count ready…

🎉*Drumroll please… final count announcement coming NEXT WEEK!*

But while the shoe counting is paused, the mission keeps moving forward. ❤️

This entire week, our team is spending time serving at **Camp Outdoor Outreach** — one of our favorite Group Mentoring opportunities where our young people get the chance to step into leadership, mentorship, and service as they invest into the lives of elementary students.

There is something powerful about watching youth who have been poured into begin pouring into others.

This is what Life Decisions is all about:
building leaders, creating belonging, and giving young people opportunities to grow into who they were created to be.
