🐿️🦃🐦 Celebrating World Animal Day — October 4

The grounds at Womanspace are home—or a welcome stopping place—to so many creatures who add life, movement, and a little bit of wonder to our days.

We share this space with wandering turkeys, busy squirrels (including our striking black squirrels!), neighborhood cats, an occasional coyote, and countless birds passing through the trees and gardens.

Just last week, a flock of Northern Flickers spent the morning foraging on the grounds as they traveled along their migration path—a beautiful reminder that sometimes Womanspace is a resting place for more than just people.

On World Animal Day, we’re especially grateful for the wildlife around us and for the part these creatures play in making our campus feel peaceful, nature-filled, and connected.

Here’s to noticing our wild neighbors, appreciating the moments of delight they bring, and caring for the shared spaces we all call home. 🌎🐾

Calling local artists and makers!

There’s Something About Merry is back December 4–6, and we’re looking for artisans to help fill Womanspace with great gifts, decor, and holiday cheer.

Bring your festive creations or your gift-worthy favorites. Artwork doesn’t have to be holiday-themed. If it’s handmade, original, and something someone would love to give (or keep for themselves!), we’d love to see it.

Share your work and be part of a fun holiday tradition!

✨ Artist registration deadline: November 12
🎄 There’s Something About Merry: December 4–6

🌎 October is Global Diversity Awareness Month

Our world is made richer by the many cultures, traditions, experiences, perspectives, identities, and stories we each carry.

At Womanspace, we believe there is beauty in both what we share and what makes each of us unique. When we make space to listen to one another, learn from one another, and approach our differences with curiosity and respect, we create deeper understanding and stronger connections.

This month, we celebrate the diversity of our human family and the many ways it expands our view of the world.

May we continue creating spaces where people feel welcomed, valued, and free to be fully themselves. 💜

There’s a wonderful energy growing at Womanspace.

Our fall/winter programming is in full swing, bringing together familiar favorites with new programs, new choices, and more ways to connect, create, learn, and grow.

And we’re continuing to build from here.

Your gift to our Annual Fund Drive helps make these opportunities possible and keeps Womanspace moving forward as a welcoming, creative, and connected community.

If Womanspace has been meaningful to you, we hope you’ll consider making a gift. Every contribution helps us continue creating experiences that bring people together.

💜 Give today and be part of what’s growing at Womanspace.
