The Power of Progeny board members participated in our annual retreat at the Avery Research Center for African American History and Culture at the College of Charleston. This year's theme was "The Power to Cultivate: From Seed to Impact" as we "planted seeds" for future endeavors, such as the upcoming POP Powerful Youth Leadership camp coming up in just a few weeks. With 15 years of experience as a community organizer, storyteller, & co-owner of White Street Station, Jason Fulford has dedicated his career to bringing people together. As a business owner, event creator, & educator, he designs experiences that foster positive connections and meaningful engagement. Through storytelling and writing, Jason strives to spread love and inspire others wherever he goes.

Kicherra Chisolm is a visionary visual artist and art instructor with over 10 years of experience inspiring creativity in others. Passionate about artistic growth and self-expression, she believes art connects the heart to the world and encourages everyone to let their creativity shine. She truly believes in the transformative power of art and often says, “Art is the bridge between the heart and the world; let your creativity shine and inspire others.”

Welcome New Power of Progeny Nonprofit Board Member Ciara Robinson! Ciara Robinson is a native of Hopkins, South Carolina. She graduated from Claflin University in 2015, where she obtained a degree in Sociology with a minor in education. She obtained a degree in Multi-Categorical from Columbia College in 2021. She is currently a special education teacher, at a middle school teacher in South Carolina. Ciara is currently the Vice President for SCENE working with the State’s 0-10 year educators through The SCEA. Ciara enjoys teaching because she loves to help her students reach their personal and academic goals. Follow our Power of Progeny page for updates.
