What does it mean to hope for the future of arts education in South Carolina? Join us Tuesday morning at our annual conference for a powerful conversation featuring voices from across our state and different corners of the arts education community!

🎭 Meet our panelists:
🎤 Natalie Daise — Bringing the rich cultural traditions and stories of the Lowcountry to the conversation.
🎭 Larry Hembree — Sharing perspectives from the heart of our state and his experience as a celebrated theater educator.
🎨 Staci Purvis — Offering insights shaped by her leadership in art education at the classroom, district, state, and national levels.

Take a 90-minute stroll through historic streets, haunted shops, and mysterious homes as Tim shares stories of:

🏚️ A ghostly visitor to the old apothecary
🌿 Gullah legends and Lowcountry folklore

What a great day of learning at Arts Integration for Science Educators!

On Thursday, educators from across South Carolina gathered at The Arts Center of Greenwood to explore how the arts can deepen and enrich science instruction. Participants experienced two hands-on arts integration workshops led by Marlin Ketter and Melody Powell, leaving with fresh ideas and new ways to engage their students.
