Please plan ahead, keep your pets safely AT HOME and INDOORS, and make sure collars and microchip information are up to date. Even pets who are normally okay with fireworks can become startled, panic, and run.

It is almost time for our PACK WALK!

Our pack walks take place every Sunday at 10:30am. This weekend we will meet at the Hy-Vee on West Circle.

What is a pack walk? A chance for dogs of all social and behavioral levels to walk, with distance, and grow accustomed to new faces and dogs. It is a great way to socialize your dog and is led by our great pack leader Jodie. ☺️ All are welcome!

We also have two adoption events at Petsmart North this weekend!

Harry is an absolutely adorable orange tabby boy with a sweet heart and a gentle personality. While he can be a little shy in new places or around new people, give him a little time to settle in and you'll discover a playful, affectionate kitten who's well worth the wait.

Once Harry feels safe, he loves to play, romp around with his feline friends, and enjoy all the fun that kittenhood has to offer. He's wonderful with other cats, does great with dogs, and would thrive in a calm, patient home where he can build his confidence at his own pace.

Harry isn't the type to be the center of attention right away—but if you're willing to let him come out of his shell, you'll be rewarded with a loyal little companion who will blossom more every day. He's looking for someone who understands that the very best friendships are sometimes the ones that take just a little time to grow.

Barn cat adopters needed! 🚜🌾

Some of the cats in our rescue can be skittish around humans- life hasn’t always been the kindest to them. 💔 Our amazing fosters do great work with them, but some of these shyer kitties may be happiest in a barn surrounded by other animals!

The best part? They’re all up-to-date on shots, microchipped, and spayed or neutered!

Butterfly is one of these cats. She is a resilient momma who raised her babies all on her own at a campground in a boat before being rescued. This sweet girl is still learning to trust people and would do best in a quiet, calm home with a patient family who can give her the time and space she needs to blossom OR in a peaceful barn where she can safely roam and be cared for. ❤️

Our little 7 pound snow strawberry is still waiting for her forever home! 🍓🤍

Snow is a sweet little 12-year-old breeder release Maltese who is learning what it means to be a beloved pet, and she’s doing really well! She’s still working on potty training, so her new family will need to be patient and consistent while she gets the hang of it.

After spending so many years as a breeding dog, this sweet girl deserves a quiet, loving home where she can spend her golden years being spoiled rotten. She’s finally learning what it means to be loved, and we know she has so much love left to give in return.

She’s tiny, scruffy, ridiculously cute, and very ready for the next chapter of her life. ❤️
