Announced yesterday, there is an important update to the Rochester YMCA. We are closing our facility on January 31, though programs to support mind, body and spirit will continue to be delivered in Rochester and surrounding communities. We are leaving a building, not a community.

The YMCA is committed to offering the Rochester community innovative programs and services, including our child care center, which will remain open.

Receiving a massage any time of the year has benefits, but it can be especially helpful during the summer months. Due to high heat and humidity, the body can become inflamed and swollen which can make us feel lethargic. Receiving regular massage can help alleviate symptoms of swollen joints and limbs, and decrease inflammation by moving fluids through the body.

My 21st guest is Ravi Norman, the CEO of Norman Global Enterprises, a holding company of various businesses. In the past, he was promoted from CFO to CEO of Thor Construction, once the largest minority-owned business in our state. He is a long-respected Minneapolis entrepreneur and currently serves as the chair of the YMCA of the North board of directors. He's brought so much wisdom to our board with his unique command of analytics, equity, finance and operations, and strategy. Not surprisingly, Ravi has served on many important committees and boards, including The Minneapolis Regional Chamber, Summit Academy OIC and The Greater MSP.

Thank you to Vikings legend and recent inductee into the Black College Football Hall of Fame Greg Coleman and his wife and retired principal and teacher Eleanor along with our amazing Y sports team for a recent outstanding golf clinic. Greg grew up going to the Y as a kid and now he and Eleanor have volunteered for over 20 years with our YMCA. They collaborate with our Y to advance the health, wellbeing and equity of local communities through youth mentoring and sports programs. His Y celebrity golf tournament raises funds to support these programs across our association.
