A devoted husband and father to his four young children, a tradesman, volunteer firefighter and by all accounts, all-around-good-guy, Brandon’s final act mirrored the selflessness he embodied while alive; he became an organ donor, altering the course of multiple lives. Our own Jamie Radke humbly accepted Brandon’s gift of both lungs on August 21st, 2021, when he underwent a bilateral lung transpla
nt after more than a year of being bedridden, dying from an autoimmune disorder that cruelly ravaged his ability to breathe. Since then, Jamie’s gratitude toward the Hatfield family and the selfless act that they bestowed upon his own family has grown with every breath he takes (literally!). Unfortunately, Brandon did not have life insurance. And in an even more unfortunate set of events, Brandon’s widow, Danielle, along with their children Riggin, Ashyton, Payton, and Piper had another grim setback when they lost their home in a fire in December of 2021. In recognition of the graces he has been given, Jamie felt the pull to give back to the Hatfield family. Nothing will ever replace the man and father that was lost, but if our efforts can assist to ease the financial burden, then let’s give it all we’ve got! Join us for an afternoon on Kathy’s rooftop. Partake in some exquisite whiskey and beer tastings. Participate generously in our silent auction. Donate what you can to the family who allowed our Jamie to flourish. Maybe even partake in a bit of debauchery. You’ll be hard pressed to find a better cause. All proceeds from this event will go directly to creating scholarships for Brandon’s children, in addition to funds to assist Danielle and the family with daily living expenses.
