Discover SEMYO! 🎶

Young musicians in grades 4–9 with at least one year of experience on a band or orchestra instrument are invited to visit Bravura Strings and Prelude Winds on Saturday, Sept. 12 at Dakota Middle School from 10-11:30 AM.

These introductory ensembles help developing musicians build confidence, learn to play together as a group, and enjoy making music with other enthusiastic students.
Come observe rehearsal, meet our students and conductors, or bring your instrument and sit in with the ensemble!

Tickets are now on sale for It’s Instrumental: An Evening of Chamber Music!

Join SEMYO on Saturday, October 10, from 6–8:30 PM at the Chateau Theatre for dinner, great music, the Bravura Music Educator Award, and our popular student-led dessert auction.

Proceeds help make SEMYO more accessible to young musicians through tuition assistance, outreach performances, and high-quality music education.

We have select openings remaining, including string players in all orchestras and all band instruments in Prelude Winds. (Some ensembles and instruments are now full.)

A special thank you to our SEMYO high school mentors who helped make this year's Summer Music Camps such a memorable experience! ❤️

Our student leaders continually impress us with their willingness to share their time, talents, and encouragement with younger musicians. Whether they were moving equipment, leading sectionals, helping during rehearsals, or simply offering a friendly smile, they played an important role in creating a well-organized camp and a welcoming environment where every student could learn, grow, and shine.

Thank you to all the talented, enthusiastic students who joined us for our band and string camps. It was a fun couple of weeks of learning, games, and meeting new friends.

What an exciting week at String Orchestra Camp!

We’re so proud of our participants for the growth they’ve shown each day as musicians and for the way they’ve come together as ensembles through full orchestra rehearsals, sectionals, and plenty of fun along the way.

We can’t wait to hear the results of their hard work at tomorrow’s final performances!
