"Leadership Through Basketball" has not been active for awhile, but the family that was formed has remained. The bonds these teammates formed from playing this sport of basketball, traveling, cooking together, sharing meals, and so much laughter were bonds that ran deep.

On Friday we lost one of these young men to a tragic car accident.

Biruck was an integral part of the Leadership Through Basketball family. He made everyone laugh. He was the greatest joy to be around. His light will be deeply missed.

If you knew Biruck, a funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes (5421 Royal Pl. NW, Rochester, MN 55901). Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Rochester.

We are sharing the "Go-Fund Me" his family has set up to cover the funeral cost, possible hospital bills and whatever else the the family needs.
