Today, black children are being identified with autism at higher rates than white children — a reminder of why representation, awareness, and honest conversations truly matter.

BreatheDeep was proud to sponsor RAC Community Reads alongside Rochester Alumnae Chapter ΔΣΘ . In discussion with Dr. Jeannine Dingus-Eason over her book, we created a space that encouraged vulnerability, living in shared experiences, and meaningful dialogue around mothering and autism in the Black community.

Special thank you to everyone who showed up ready—with or without their books—to renew, restore, reconnect, and reflect with us.

The art. The stories. The energy. The courage.

Our Peer Ambassadors showed us exactly what Hope in Mental Health can look like—and we’re still riding that feeling. ✨

Yesterday we honored our graduating Peer Ambassadors during our first Program🎓💜
Board members, staff, family & friends gathered to celebrate our students, share words of encouragement and to recognize the years they’ve spent with us committed to leadership, service, and mental health education. We also got to hear our PAs reflect on their experience!
Some of them have been with us since the beginning of our program—back to Tremont St. when we had to share bathrooms as they kindly reminded us. We are so proud of them and we’re excited to see what they do next as they head off to college this fall!

Gratitude to all who showed up for Doc & Dialogue Conversations about Mental Health: A Choreofilm this past Saturday! 💜🎬
Your energy turned the room into a space for us to lean into our mission of reflecting, reconnecting, renewing, and restoring this community through collective healing and mental wellness.
A very special & deep appreciation to our Peer Ambassadors, who continue to lead with empathy, for sharing their lived experience to ground the conversation.
