HOWM was established to support wounded military veterans. We support: Homes for Our Troops, Semper We have over 500 people attend our annual banquet.

We have raised and donated $2,200,000 to date through our events and contributions from supporters. Since the beginning:
We have had over 280 golfers participate each year. Over 500 runners participate each year.! More than 250 volunteers have given their time, ideas, suggestions, patience, and brought enthusiasm and energy over the past 9 years. The Silent and Live Auctions at our gala are always special. Many of our local businesses, sports teams, sponsors, community members and countless others have given us awesome items for the auction. We are proud of what we have accomplished in our 9 years as a charity. We have made great friends, brought communities together, had some laughs, and most importantly made a difference in the lives of our wounded veterans and their families.

🇺🇸 **HONORING INDIGENOUS PEOPLES’ DAY**

Today, H.O.W.M. recognizes and honors the **history, cultures, traditions and contributions of Indigenous peoples and Tribal Nations** throughout our country.

We also recognize the proud legacy of **Native American service members and veterans**, whose dedication and service to our nation span generations.

On Indigenous Peoples’ Day, we take time to reflect on the strength and resilience of Indigenous communities, honor those who have served, and celebrate the rich cultures and traditions that continue to shape our nation.

💚 WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY 💚

Today, H.O.W.M. joins communities around the world in recognizing World Mental Health Day and the importance of making mental health a priority.

For our service members, veterans, wounded military heroes and their families, the battles we can’t see can be just as real as the ones we can. Asking for help is not a sign of weakness—it takes courage to speak up, reach out and take care of yourself. 🇺🇸

Today is a reminder to check in on the people around you. Listen. Be present. Offer support. Sometimes a simple “How are you really doing?” can open the door to a conversation someone needs.

💚 You matter. Your mental health matters. And no one should have to face their struggles alone.

H.O.W.M. stands with our military and veteran community today and every day.

🎀 OCTOBER IS BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH 🎀

As we begin Breast Cancer Awareness Month, H.O.W.M. stands in support of the fighters, survivors, families and loved ones whose lives have been touched by breast cancer.

Throughout our military and veteran communities—and communities across the country—there are women and men facing a different kind of battle with incredible strength and courage. 💗

This month, we honor those currently fighting, celebrate the survivors, remember those we have lost, and encourage everyone to recognize the importance of awareness and early detection.

To every warrior fighting this battle: you are seen, you are supported, and you are not alone. 🎀🇺🇸

Together, we wear pink. Together, we stand strong.
