Our favorite meetings are definitely 💯 the ones where we get to see students.

And it’s extra special when we get to hear from our RYLA 5790 students.

It was a wonderful presentation from Connor Langston and Adele Samas. And they were able to include a video segment from Panphon Chinthongprasert, who was out of the country. Well
Done to all our RYLA students.

A new addition to the program is that we are now bestowing Graduation Cords to our student leaders. Thank you to Principal Shatina Lewis of Carroll ISD for being there for the presentation.

And thank you to Lannie Noble ! Lannie is a long time leader of the RYLA program and part of Rotary International and The Rotary Club of Decatur Texas

Join us on August 7 for our annual volunteer shift at GRACE Grapevine for Feed Our Kids!

Last year, Southlake Rotarians served around 150 clients and kiddos who enjoyed hot dogs and ice cream treats, filled up bags with snacks to take home, and created art that was auctioned off at the GRACE Gala.

We also love partnering with awesome high school volunteers who oversee the art studio!

11am-1pm at GRACE Grapevine: 837 E. Walnut Street, Grapevine

There will be indoor & outdoor shifts - Dress to volunteer

*There is no regular meeting at Whites Chapel this week*

Eat before you get there OR plan on a hot dog lunch

Youth Celebrations!! Join us as we celebrate two big youth events at our meeting this Friday, July 31, at 12pm at White's Chapel Methodist Church! We meet in the Adult Education Building on the 2nd floor. Lunch will be provided :)

First, we will hear from the students we sponsored to attend RYLA! Then, we will formally recognize our newly sponsored Interact Club! This is essentially Rotary for high school students, and it will be a wonderful partnership.

We can't wait to hear more from these young community leaders!

***We are expecting a full house, so arrive a few minutes early in case you need to park in the adjacent lot***
