“Children, obey your parents because you belong to the Lord, for this is the right thing to do. 'Honor your father and mother.' This is the first commandment with a promise: If you honor your father and mother, 'Things will go well for you, and you will have a long life on the earth.'

Society has twisted this truth. Music, media, governing bodies of education, and social influencers proclaim that obedience is subverting your best life. The truth is that parents LOVE their children, and the boundaries are there to protect us in a very loving way because destruction ALWAYS follows sin. Obedience is where we find our best life.
