Mark your calendars for Saturday, August 29th! 📅 We will be hosting a tree care event in San Bernardino. Come help us care for our newly planted trees and to help make a greener and healthier community. Together we will be caring for 36 trees 🌳 Everyone is welcome! Don’t forget to bring comfortable shoes, a refillable water bottle, sun protection and your community spirit! We look forward to seeing you all there

We will also be hosting a fruit tree distribution for SoCal Edison customers. There will be 28 fruit trees to be given away on a first come, first serve basis. Please bring your SoCal Edison bill for verification.

We are accepting requests for Rialto residents who would like a shade tree inside their parkway! We are looking for residents who are ready to take some ownership and help water their beautiful new tree. Treepeople will take care of the hard stuff (re-staking, pruning, adjusting ties, etc.) while you help us water the tree as much as possible. Our goal is to complete your request during our October-April planting season. If we need any additional information, we’ll reach out!

⚠️Residents are NOT guaranteed a tree as we have to confirm the site is suitable for planting.

We do not have a deadline for Rialto residents at the moment.

Join us August 22nd at Rialto City Park to water, re-stake and re-mulch 27 trees! Supporting newly planted trees in the early stages of their life will allow them to support us for the rest of ours☝🏽🤓

Fruit trees will also be available for free for qualifying Rialto residents! Tree care participants who also want a fruit tree will have priority for this distribution.

Please remember to bring comfortable shoes, a hat for sun protection ☀️ and a reusable water bottle.

To all the tree lovers 📣 Join us in giving back to your community, one tree at a time! We are excited to host our first tree care event for our new project in San Bernardino on August 15th. Come learn how to properly care for newly planted trees and help keep our urban forest healthy and thriving. Due to the size of SAN BERNARDINO 📍we may overlook or simply miss your neighborhood when we are assessing locations to plant…..BUT we’d love to give residents an opportunity to request a tree!! Since these requests may be random and throughout the city, we might not reach your tree routinely enough to water, so ALL we ask is that you take on some ownership & water the tree. 😊

1. 🏠First, we’ll determine if you qualify
- live within the map boundary in the city of SAN BERNARDINO
- and have a parkway around your home
2. 💦You have to be willing to put some effort into caring for the tree
- This will primarily include watering the tree
- our team will handle the other stuff (re-staking, adjusting ties, pruning) 🔨
3. 🌿Our team will go and assess the location
- Due to the nature of working in this city it will take some time, planting can begin as soon as November. 🌳
- because of this constraint we ask that people who are interested, submit a form as soon as possible and by the end of this month JULY 31st. 📅

Shade equity is important and we’d hate for our limited capacity to come in between you receiving a tree, So PLEASE take the time to fill out the google form. You can find the link in our bio in our linktree
