Borough of Riverdale, New Jersey Adult Kickball is coming back!!

Join us on Thursdays in July and August for big fun.

This league is adults only, but kids are welcome. We will have a volunteer to oversee kids activities in the park/adjacent t-ball field.

That’s a wrap. Today was celebration day for the Borough of Riverdale, New Jersey Runners program. We did some races, gave awards, and enjoyed some food and games. Looking forward to getting this group back together in the fall.

Today, youth members of the Borough of Riverdale, New Jersey Runner Club participated in a . They competed against friends and coaches. It was a fun and fast day!

Next week is our final program for the Spring season. Our awards pot luck will immediately follow our program.

Today, youth members of the Borough of Riverdale, New Jersey Runners Club participated in the ribbon cutting ceremony for the new inclusive toddler playground. Afterwards, we enjoyed playing, did some endurance running, and ended the day with a few innings of kickball. Everyone had a fun day!

Exciting news! Join us this Sunday at 3 pm for a ribbon cutting on the new inclusive playground.

The Borough of Riverdale will be hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony at Freedom Park Sunday, May 31, 2026 at 3pm to celebrate the official opening of our new Toddler Inclusive Playground. The Riverdale Runners hosted by our Recreation Director, Laura Jennings Pitt will be on hand to join in on the fun! Hope to see you there.

Today a small but mighty crew of Borough of Riverdale, New Jersey Runners gathered to conquer . It was hot and we took water breaks every 7-10 minutes, but we also worked hard and had fun.

The next Riverdale Runner’s Club program will be May 31 at 3 pm. (This program is completely free).

Week 3 of our Running Club!

A huge thank you to our guest star coaches, Joyce and Rob, for stepping in and bringing the energy, and to PLHS Coaches Evelyn and Jocelyn for continuing to lead with such enthusiasm and care. It truly takes a team, and this program is stronger because of each of you.

This week’s focus was team work and speed. We did races, had some fun with boys vs girls, and played tug-of-war too!

Proud of this group and grateful for the community that shows up week after week to make it possible. 🏃‍♀️

Today at Borough of Riverdale, New Jersey Runners Club, youth runners practiced speed and pacing by running and moving like some of our favorite animals. It was wonderful to have the program outdoors on this beautiful day.
