🐾 Happy National Cat Day! Today, we are celebrating the incredible comfort, quiet companionship, and healing power our feline friends bring to our hospice patients and families.

There is something deeply restorative about the gentle purr of a cat. For many in our care, a visiting therapy cat or a beloved family pet provides a sense of peace that words simply cannot match. They don't ask for explanations—they just offer unconditional love and a warm lap when it is needed most.

Chaplain Wayne, Volunteer Coordinator Amber, and Volunteer Patricia had the privilege of speaking at VEF Post 12149 in Rincon, GA a couple weeks ago!

The SunCare Team educated our veterans about palliative care versus hospice care, and shared all about our volunteering opportunities!

This October, pink is more than just a color—it’s a symbol of strength, unity, and hope.

As we celebrate National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, our community is stepping out in our best pink attire to honor survivors, support those currently fighting, and remember those we have lost.

Every ribbon, shirt, and accessory worn this month helps spark vital conversations about early detection and breast health education.
