RIDGWAY — The Ridgway Area School District Foundation is a newly-formed nonprofit organization comprised of community members looking to enhance educational opportunities for students.

Last month, we invited community members, area businesses, and local leaders to join us for a night at the train station, as we climbed aboard for our future! 🚂

We shared our ideas for the Ridgway Area School District Foundation, and spoke with key stakeholders about how they can join us in advancing Ridgway's future for all Elkers! 🫎

Thank you to everyone who was able to attend this event, we greatly appreciate your support! A special thank you to Penn Mountain Event Co. for all of your help! Everything turned out incredible! And thank you to 200 West Main for hosting us in your beautiful building! We greatly appreciate it!

Why did you join the RASD Foundation? I am a part of the Ridgway Area School District Foundation because I value the role education plays in opening doors for young people. By supporting initiatives that provide new experiences and resources, I hope to make a positive impact for the students, teachers and the community as a whole.

Favorite tradition or activity at the school district? Musicals at all grade levels since they showcase the students talents. 🎼

Favorite Ridgway community tradition or activity? The Firemen’s Week parade 👨‍🚒
