📢 A DIRECT MESSAGE TO OUR MOUNTAIN FEST COMMUNITY (Past Vendors and Attendees)

The Elk County Wilds Tourism Association wants to be clear: the event called "Blizzard Fest" planned for 2026 is completely separate and has no affiliation with Mountain Fest, our organizing team, our nonprofit sponsor (the Elk County Wilds Tourism Association), or our board members. (NO ASSOCIATION) 🚫

Our mission remains focused on you. We take great pride in organizing Mountain Fest to ensure our attendees have fun and to make our vendors successful.

We are diligently working to secure the right event venue with proper facilities (electrical power, heat, and water) to deliver the high-quality experience you expect. We look forward to sharing an update on the next Mountain Fest as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience! 🙏

Unfortunately there will not be a 2025 Mountain Fest. We are still actively working with the Ridgway Borough to have electricity placed in the building where we would like to have the event. Please stay tuned and keep in touch with us.

This prime piece of property, owned by the Ridgway Borough (that's you, the taxpayer!), holds immense potential. Let's make it something amazing, together!

The Elk County Wilds Tourism Association (ECWTA) has some exciting ideas for the site:

🟠Large Building: An INDOOR event and recreation center to revive Mountain Fest⭐and to host other indoor events like auctions, trade shows, car shows, weddings, music festivals, etc. and offer year-round indoor activities like basketball, hockey, soccer, rollerskating and more!

🟠Smaller Building: A museum, nature center, and conference center. Imagine learning about Ridgway's lumber and tannery history, the Hyde-Murphey legacy, or exploring the wonders of the Clarion River and our forests!

🟠Outdoor Area: A beautiful park and gathering space for the community to connect and enjoy the outdoors.

Due to lack of a venue, we are very sorry to announce that Mountain Fest 2024 is canceled.

Thank you to all of our guests, vendors and musicians who have made the last 5 years such a huge success. We are working with the Ridgway Borough to develop a 40,000+SF building at Ridgway Mills for future events.
