Due to the remnants of Tropical Storm Rachel moving into Utah and Western Colorado later today, organizers have decided to RESCHEDULE the Star Party to Friday, October 16th - same time at 7:30pm and Place - the Soccer Field.

🎶 TURN IT UP
Live music is everywhere this week! Catch Coral Skye (10/6), Flannel Feedback and Wowzers (10/9) at Colorado Boy Depot. Floating Lotus has Open Mic Night (10/7), Music Bingo (10/8) and the Crystal Creek Band's folk-rock-bluegrass-funk blend (10/9). The Sherbino hosts Alysha Brilla's dancehall-flavored, global-rhythm party (10/10). Then wind down Sunday (10/11) with music in Chloe's garden. 🎸🎤

🎨 GET CREATIVE
A 10-foot fiber rocket in a cowboy hat has landed in Ridgway. Yes, really! Space Cowboy is here all month, so go say howdy. 🚀🤠 Little ones (ages 2.5–5) can get gloriously messy at Toddler Storytime Art on Wednesday (you snuggle, we handle the glitter), and grown-ups can paint fall colors with Mary Pat Ettinger on Saturday (supplies included). "Containment," a clay sculpture show at The 610 Arts Collective, runs through Oct 30.

🎨Enjoy an Artist's Reception of Susan Clark's work at Chloe's Charcuterie from 5-8pm, catch the opening of Containment at The 610 Arts Collective from 5-7pm and the opening of Space Cowboy at the Decker Community Room with Colorado Poet Laureate Crisosto Apache. The Artist Talk and Poetry Reading is from 6:30-7:30pm.

Come join a Celebration of Dark Skies with the Black Canyon Astronomical Society on October 10th at 7:30 p.m. at the Ridgway Athletic Park. There will be professional telescopes provided for viewing, with laser-guided constellation tours.

Weather permitting, free and open to the public. Please park at the soccer field (6579 County Rd 23, Ridgway, CO) with headlights pointing east.
