Kick off the month with Ridgway’s First Friday Art Walk — a night full of creativity, community, and connection! 🌟

At 610 Arts Collective, we’re celebrating the 610 Open Exhibition, a lively, non-juried showcase of artists from across Colorado’s Western Slope. Explore an incredible range of work—from emerging voices to established talents—and cast your vote for the People’s Choice Award! Enjoy light snacks, local conversation, and a burst of color and inspiration.

- “Layers of Faces and Life,” an expressive new show by Ruth Higdon and Julie Ahern at the Decker Room
- 610 Arts: Open Exhibition Celebration at the 610 Arts Collective

Ridgway Mayor John Clark is celebrating that the Ouray Ridgway Events Calendar is now live!

Here’s what he had to say about the calendar: “I’m so excited to have the Ouray Ridgway Events Calendar come online; it’s going to be an incredible resource for the entire region!”

You can get involved in the community by attending events like the Annual Love Your Valley Festival on May 9 in Hartwell Park. This free event will feature food vendors, microbrew samples, and live music from The Williams Brothers Band, and it also serves as a fundraiser for the free Ridgway Concert Series in July!

Cahoots Tavern is bringing the fun to the new Ouray Ridgway events calendar with off-the-wall celebrations for every holiday. Next up is “Kegs & Easter Eggs” on April 5.

🎶 Live Music at the Sherbino – April 11! 🎶

A great night of music is headed our way at The Sherbino featuring The Little Mercies and Desiderata!

You might remember The Little Mercies from last summer’s Ridgway Concert Series — including the hometown connection we all love. One of the band members grew up right here and has been performing for our community since she was young. It’s pretty special to watch that full-circle moment happen on stage. 💛

This show brings two bands to the Sherbino stage, promising a high-energy evening of live music in one of Ridgway’s favorite venues.

Startup Colorado is proud to launch a new initiative in partnership with Belonging Colorado: Belonging @ Startup Colorado, a 12-month accelerator for entrepreneurs who see business as a bridge that connects people, strengthens communities, and drives meaningful impact.

This program is designed for a small cohort of founders building scalable solutions that foster belonging across lines of difference. Over the course of one year, participants receive personalized mentorship and technical support, including:

Matched mentorship
Bi-weekly advisory sessions
Technical and operational guidance
Investment and capital strategy support
Introductions to funders
Pitch development and statewide visibility
Each founder receives the equivalent of up to $52,000 in direct support. By the end of the program, participants will be pitch-ready, investor-friendly, and connected to a lifelong network of partners and peers.
