🚦 Your voice matters, Richmond!

The City is evaluating ways to improve safety, reduce speeding, and address cut-through traffic concerns in Point Richmond while maintaining access for residents, businesses, visitors, deliveries, and emergency services.

Potential improvements being considered include traffic calming measures, raised crosswalks, signal timing adjustments, traffic circles, and other safety enhancements.

We want to hear from you! Share your thoughts and help shape recommendations that balance safety, mobility, parking, neighborhood character, and accessibility for everyone.

Community event:

Tutu is one of our very own Washington students.

Join us to raise money to support Toussaint (Tutu) Flores in his continued fight against cancer! Our brave warrior Toussaint has completed 18 days of radiation and 8 cycles of chemotherapy over the last nine months. With his 12th birthday right around the corner, Toussaint has a wish list of places he’d like to visit. We want to help make his wishes come true and fund a trip for him and his family as he continues his fight against cancer.

¡Únete a nosotros para recaudar fondos y apoyar a Toussaint (Tutu) Flores en su lucha contra el cáncer! Nuestro valiente guerrero, Toussaint, ha completado 18 días de radioterapia y 8 ciclos de quimioterapia en los últimos nueve meses. Próximo a cumplir 12 años, Toussaint tiene una lista de lugares que le gustaría visitar. Queremos ayudarlo a cumplir sus deseos y financiar un viaje para él y su familia mientras continúa su lucha contra el cáncer.

We at Washington wanted to give grattitude to a few individuals who have supported our teachers, teamsters and families on the picket line.

If you frequent their establishments or see them out and about please let them know we appreciate the kind and empathetic gesture. That we value their support. That their intentional involvement is what community means.

Josephine O. over at El Sol Restaurant & Catering - Richmond has been a staple at our school, huge community advocate in both Richmond and Rodeo. Always one to jump in to help kids, community, unhoused pets. May happiness find you in abundance for everything you do. Thank you for the delicious breakfast burritos. 🌯
