“The products recalled include Northwest Naturals' Frozen Chicken Recipe, which is a cat food and protein topper for dogs, and its Frozen Raw Diet for Dogs Recipe. The Frozen Chicken Recipe was sold in 2-pound bags and has a best-by date of Jan. 26, 2028, while the Frozen Raw Diet for Dogs Recipe was sold in 6-pound bags and has a best-by date of Jan. 25, 2028.”

A pet food brand is recalling some of its products because they could be contaminated with salmonella and listeria.

SPECIAL ADOPTER NEEDED for REGRESSIVE FELV+ MAMA

Our sweet retired mama cat Bella was an indoor family pet until the family had a new baby. Bella did not adjust well so the family put her outside. Outside she became pregnant twice and ended up infected with FELV.

Bella is a loving, friendly, funny, beautiful girl who is (now finally) spayed, vaccinated, FIV-negative and microchipped.

We have had additional PCR testing showing she has REGRESSIVE FELV (Feline Leukemia) - which means she is NOT shedding the virus and therefore considered less of a risk to other cats. She is also likely to live a normal lifespan.

She can be an only cat - or in a home with older children. She has been in a home with other cats but not tested with dogs that we know of.

Or with the permission of your vet, she can be in a home with other FELV-vaccinated cats with documentation of your informed consent.

Regressive FELV cats can become progressive but are considered less risky to vaccinated cats.

Meet Mama Storm and her six little X-Men!

Mama Storm was found living outside on her own, severely underweight and doing everything she could to keep her six kittens safe and alive. Now, she’s soaking up all the love, pets, and groceries she could ever want in her foster home—and she’s absolutely loving it!

This sweet family has a little growing to do before they’re ready for their forever homes. They’ll need about six more weeks to get healthy, strong, and big enough to begin their next adventure
