Currently seeking to rent a home 4+ bedroom 3 bath to provide a safe place where ladies ages 16-24 facing an unplanned pregnancy can find hope, healing & a place to call home. Beautiful Beginnings Family Center is a safe, nurturing, Christian family environment that serves as a temporary haven for healing, restoration, and growth. Our purpose is equipping young ladies, ages 16-24, facing an unplan

ned pregnancy with the skills, tools and resources needed to move forward and live healthy, stable, flourishing lives. Providing them with opportunities for a healthy start to reach their God-given potential in a safe, nurturing, secure place to call home. A woman coming to Beautiful Beginnings Family Center is given the gift of hope by providing her a home, educational/scholarship opportunities, and child care while she pursues education for a career. This allows her to become self-supporting within 2 years of the birth of her child!

When we think about pregnancy, we often picture excitement, baby showers, and preparation.
But for some young moms, pregnancy comes with something much heavier.
Fear. Isolation. Control. Relationship violence.
Many young mothers are navigating more than an unexpected pregnancy, they are also carrying the emotional weight of unhealthy or unsafe relationships. Feeling trapped, unsupported, or fearful while trying to care for themselves and their babies can deeply impact their mental and emotional well-being.
At Beautiful Beginnings, we believe every mom deserves more than survival. She deserves safety. Support. Healthy relationships. A village that walks alongside her.
Awareness matters. Compassion matters. Community matters.
Because sometimes the most life-changing thing we can offer is a safe place to land. 🤍

Today, we pause to remember.
Memorial Day is more than a long weekend—it is a sacred day of remembrance for the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation.
At Beautiful Beginnings Family Center, we honor the courage, sacrifice, and selflessness of those who laid down their lives so others could live in freedom. We remember the families who carry both pride and loss, and we are deeply grateful.
We are reminded of the words of Jesus:
“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” — John 15:13
Today, may we pause in gratitude, pray for the families of the fallen, and never forget the cost of the freedoms we hold dear.
We remember. We honor. We are grateful.

Meet Deborah Borgens 💛

Raised alongside her four siblings on farms throughout the Tri-Cities and surrounding areas, Deborah has spent her life investing in faith, family, education, and community. As a longtime Bible Study leader, former Alternative High School Director, church board member, and community volunteer, her heart has consistently been drawn toward encouraging and uplifting others.

During her six years leading an alternative high school, Deborah worked closely with teenage mothers and their children through the school’s daycare program—walking alongside young women committed to graduating, learning parenting skills, and building a brighter future for themselves and their babies. Each spring brought the joy of celebrating those moms and children as they stepped into a new season of hope and opportunity.

Today, Deborah brings that same compassion, wisdom, and servant-hearted leadership to Beautiful Beginnings Family Center
as our Board Secretary.

Her favorite verse, Mark 9:37, beautifully reflects the heart behind this ministry:

“Whoever receives one of these little children in My name receives Me…”

We are so grateful for Deborah’s faithfulness, leadership, and the love she carries for both moms and babies. 💕

To the moms who are doing their best with tired eyes, full hearts, and more responsibility than most people see… Happy Mother’s Day. 💐

Whether this is your first Mother’s Day, you’re raising babies in the middle of uncertainty, or you’re simply trying to make it through one day at a time — please know this:

You matter.
Your love matters.
And the sacrifices you make every single day are seen. 🩵

Motherhood is not about perfection. It’s about showing up with love, even on the hard days. It’s late nights, early mornings, praying over your babies, trying again after mistakes, and choosing to keep going when life feels heavy.
