This rescue was created in July 2010 by animal advocate, Dottie Childers in Richland, Indiana. After many years of being active in the rescue community they set out on a mission to save the less adoptable, the elderly, and those suffering from health conditions. In addition, I have stepped in to help save animals during their final few hours on death row at local shelters. It had been her experi
ence that these animals were often passed over due to their ‘conditions’ that other rescues deemed them as ‘unadoptable'. TLC Pals 4 Paaws is currently an all foster home based rescue in which our foster families are our only lifeline in saving these fur babies! We feel our fosters are very important because they can help assess exactly what type of home these furbabies should live the rest of their lives in. Our funds are *extremely* limited with high vet bills, feed bills, and other supplies. TLC Pals 4 Paaws consists of a Board of Directors that receive NO monetary compensation for devoting their time, energy, and efforts into helping these homeless pets. No money could buy the satisfaction we receive when we assist a homeless pet in finding their true forever home! IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit charity. We specialize in rescuing and rehabilitating abused and neglected animals from county shelters and off of death row. We are not, however, a dumping ground for your unwanted pet.
