🎳✨ What a night to remember! ✨🎳

Cub Scouts Pack 81 and Scouts BSA Troop 81 came together for our annual bowling night as we celebrated our last official meeting before crossover. It was an evening full of strikes, spares, laughter, and great memories shared between scouts, leaders, and families.

As we wrap up this chapter and look ahead to crossover, we’re proud of all the growth, friendships, and adventures these scouts have experienced this year. The future is bright, and we can’t wait to see our Scouts continue their journey!

Tonight was all about building skills and having fun! 🎣🔥

Our youngest Cub Scouts practiced their fishing skills—learning patience, technique, and the thrill of the catch—while our oldest Cub Scouts stepped up to the challenge of outdoor cooking, creating some tasty camp-style meals.

From the water to the campfire, these Scouts are learning confidence, teamwork, and real-life skills every step of the way.

Last night, our Pack had the honor of celebrating a truly special moment—Assistant Cubmaster Sierra Calabria was awarded the District Award of Merit, the highest recognition a local district can bestow upon a volunteer in Scouting America.

This award is given to those who go above and beyond in their service, and Sierra exemplifies that in every way. Her passion for Scouting shines through in the energy and excitement she brings to our Pack, creating meaningful and memorable experiences for our Scouts and their families.

Beyond our Pack, Sierra’s impact reaches across the entire district. She dedicates countless hours organizing engaging community events and serves as the Program Director for the District Cub Scout Day Camp at Camp Carlson, helping deliver an unforgettable experience for Scouts from across the area.

This recognition reflects not just her hard work, but the lasting difference she makes in the lives of so many young people. We are incredibly proud to have her as part of our Scouting family.

🌧️💪 Scouts in Action! 💪🌧️

Today’s Community Clean-Up Hike was a huge success! Even with a steady drizzle, our Scouts showed up ready to serve and made a big impact.

Together, we collected approximately 100 pounds of trash from around the Pine River and Richland Center Parks areas—helping keep our community clean and beautiful for everyone to enjoy. 🌲🗑️

Rain or shine, these Scouts proved that service doesn’t stop for the weather. We’re proud of their hard work, teamwork, and dedication!

Tonight Troop 81 was visited by Richland Center Mayor Todd Coppernoll. This was part of the Troops ongoing work for the Citizenship in the Community Merit Badge.

Mayor Coppernoll answered their questions ranging in topics from tax levies to Chipotle. He did a great job explaining the importance of local government, volunteerism and being a leader.
